International Fair Trade ConferenceAmerica's First Fair Trade Town Committee recently sent one of its members to the 5th international Fairtrade Towns Conference Beyond 1000 Fair Trade Towns in Malmö, Sweden, on the 19-20th of November. Over 200 representatives of Fair Trade Towns from nearly 20 countries were in attendance for this vibrant and interactive conference. Barbara Bole, a PhD candidate and long time member of our committee, is doing her dissertation on Fair Trade Towns, and went to the conference as a representative of Media PA the First Fair Trade Town in the Americas.
